Difference Between 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Generation Laptops

The concept of years mainly comes after the released of Primary i series. The distinction in processor micro-architecture is the real distinction in processor years. We will talk about about these years in detail below.

Intel Processor Generations
Intel processor years is simply have the improved feature set and speed than the previous years. Let’s talk about each generation independently.

1st Generation Intel Processors
Nehalem was the Apple processor micro-architecture which was heir to the preliminary Primary structure which had certain restrictions like in order to increase time speed, ineffective direction etc.
Nehalem used 45 nanometer process instead of the 65nm or 90nm used by past architectures. Nehalem reintroduced hyper-threading technological innovation which was quit out mostly in the primary Main i3 processor chip designs.
The Nehalem processor has a 64 KB L1 storage cache, 256 KB per core L2 storage cache and 4 MB to 12 MB L3 storage cache which is distributed to all the processor cores.

2nd Generation Intel Processors
Exotic Link micro-architecture was presented this year to substitute Nehalem structure. Exotic Link uses 32 nanometer process in contrast to 45 nm used in Nehalem. Exotic Link processor regular efficiency improvement as compared to Nehalem was about 11.3%.
Sandy Link uses the same 64 KB L1 storage cache and 256 KB per primary for L2 storage cache but the difference is in the L3 storage cache. Normally the Exotic Link processor L3 storage cache was from 1MB to 8 MB. For inordinate processor cow chip, it was from 10 MB to 15 MB.

3rd Generation Intel Processors
Ivy Link processor chip chips are faster than Exotic Link processor chip chips and use 22 nanometer process as opposed to 32 nm used in Exotic Link. This processor chip model takes in up to 50% less energy and will give 25% to 68% increase in performance in comparison to Exotic Link processor chip chips.
The only problem with Ivy Link processor chip chips is that they may release more heat in comparison to Exotic Link processor chip chips.
4th Generation Intel Processors
Haswell is the newest creation processor which is launched by Apple. It uses the same 22 nm procedure like Ivy Link. The efficiency enhancement of Haswell in comparison with Ivy bridge is from 3% to 8%. Haswell provides a lot of functions from Ivy Link with some very interesting additional functions like assistance for new electrical sockets (LGA 1150, BGA 1364, LGA 2011-3), DDR4 technological innovation, a brand-new storage cache style etc.
The main advantage of Haswell is that it can be used in super convenient gadgets due to its low power intake.
